We are thrilled to reach out to you on behalf of Yeshivas Mishkan Shmuel, a beacon of Torah and Yiras Shamayim, where the sounds of Torah study resonate day and night. Our Yeshiva has long been a nurturing ground for the spiritual growth and learning of our precious bochurim. Yet, beyond the rigorous routine of learning Gemara b’iyun and working through sugyas with ameilus, there lies a vital element of their development – the extracurricular programs that are tailored to cater to the individual needs of each talmid. It is for this purpose that we’ve established this fund, focusing on enabling and enriching these essential additional programs.
Our bochurim are dedicated to their avodas hakodesh, spending long hours in the beis medrash, fully immersed in the world of Rashi, Tosfos, and the ocean of poskim and mefarshim. However, not every bochur thrives solely on the traditional learning model. Some require extra support, such as the opportunity to learn b’chavrusa with someone who can offer an additional layer of understanding or address specific challenges they face in limud Torah. These special chavrusas, carefully selected for their ability to connect and elevate their younger counterparts, are an invaluable resource that help illuminate the path forward in their Torah journey.
Additionally, we acknowledge the complexities of growing up in today’s times and the pressures our bochurim can feel, both from within and without. Recognizing the immense value of supporting their emotional and mental well-being, we’ve integrated professional therapy services into our Yeshiva framework. This move honors the holistic approach we take toward chinuch, ensuring that each bochur is cared for not only in his ruchniyus but also in his emotional health. It is our belief that a well-rounded and happy talmid is most equipped to reach his fullest potential in avodas Hashem.
But our commitment doesn’t end there. We endeavor to provide a variety of personalized programs that cater to the wide-ranging interests and kochos of our talmidim. From shiurim in hashkafa and mussar that kindle the fire of their neshamos, to learning sessions in practical halacha that prepare them for everyday life, each program is designed to reinforce their connection to Hashem and Torah living.
In order for these programs to succeed and our bochurim to continue thriving, we turn to you, our extended family of baalei batim and supporters of Torah, to join us in this vital undertaking.
