Rabbi Sommers invests his neshama in our learning, guiding us through sugyas with clarity and geduld, and instilling within us a simchas hachaim and a love for Torah that burns brightly within our hearts. We are all aware that the cost of making a chasunah is overwhelming, with myriad expenses that can stretch a family’s financial abilities to their limits. It is a time when the simcha of the occasion can be overshadowed by the weight of burgeoning costs. For one of our own, a true man of Torah, who has devoted his life to teaching and leading without thought of personal gain or comfort, we believe it is our zechus and achrayus – privilege and responsibility – to help alleviate the financial stress. Let us come together as a kehillah and ensure that the joy of the chasunah is pure and unburdened for Rabbi Sommers and his family.
